Rosa María has taught undergraduate law courses at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), Universidad Panamericana (UP), Universidad Iberoamericana (Ibero), and Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) (Mexico City Campus).
She is a postgraduate professor at the Escuela Libre de Derecho, where she teaches the Corporate Law module in the Commercial Law Specialization, Insolvency Proceedings in the Insolvency Law Diploma, and the Consumer Insolvency.
She also taught the Bankruptcy Proceedings module in the Diploma program on the CNPCyF at the Faculty of Law, National School of Jurisprudence Foundation, A.C. (UNAM).
She has taught courses on Mexican insolvency law and cross-border insolvency at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (June 7, 2022, October 19, 2024).
She recorded a lecture on the Mexican insolvency system for the Master's Program in Global Business Law at Universidad Austral in Buenos Aires, Argentina (March 31, 2025).
She gave the inaugural lecture for the Diploma Program in Insolvency Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, entitled “Economic, Legal, and Financial Principles of Insolvency Law” (May 27, 2025).
During 2022 and 2023, Rosa taught and coordinated various courses and diploma programs on Commercial Law and Insolvency Law at the Mexican Judicial Federal School. She also coordinated the intensive training course for staff of the first insolvency courts in Mexico.
She delivered training on the “Analysis of the UNCITRAL Legal Framework on Cross-Border Insolvency” at the Judicial School of the Higher Institute of the Judiciary of Panama, Dr. César Augusto Quintero Correa (ISJUP) (November 18, 2024).
She coordinated sessions on the UNCITRAL cross-border insolvency framework for train-the-trainers who will conduct the training program in Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Morocco. Vienna, Austria. December 10 and 12, 2025.
